My current contract will probably end near the end of 1998 (about three years all up).

After this contract ends, I would like to take a long trip around the world, working part-time.  My first port of call will probably be the United States.  The general idea is to move around the world, helping people and companies as I go, and earning just enough to stay ahead.

I'm interested in hearing from companies that might be able to support an itinerant VMS System Manager with about 15 years of industry experience on retainer or part-time basis - be that 3-4 days a week, a month-on, month-off, or any creative possibility.   I am financially secure, and would like to see the world and meet its people on their own terms... that the trip can pay it's own way is a huge bonus.  Rates available on application -- but are highly dependent on terms and conditions, and commensurate with the level of experience.

Itinerary is open to discussion at this point, but I'd like to see Europe, Asia, the Middle-East and the Americas along the way.  The trip could take several years, and who knows?  Maybe even longer!

(No plans at this time to emigrate permanently.  That would take a killer offer!)
